Our field trip is far more than just a walking tour. We visit your school prior to the tour in the guise of Philadelphia doctor (and Signer of the Declaration of Independence) Benjamin Rush. Dr. Rush will talk about how he and his friends (which include Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, George Washington and Thomas Paine) secured independence and a new country. Dr. Rush will also divide your classroom in such a way that each student will focus
on a particular founder. Have you ever gone on a school field trip and discovered that the kids were too excited just by being out of the classroom to even listen to anything anybody had to say?
